Lamont (Martian crater)

Lamont is a crater in the Thaumasia quadrangle of Mars , located at 58.6°S latitude and 113.6°W longitude. It is 76.0 kilometers in diameter and was named after Johann von Lamont . The name was approved by IAU 's Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature in 1973. [1]
